Good Lord – not another travel blog…
Yes, folks – it is!
Just so that everyone’s on the same page, I’m now going to tell you what I hope to do with chickstravelflicks:

Since coming to Switzerland 6 years ago I have had the opportunity to visit and experience many wonderful things, places and people. My aim is to document all these memories through this blog and possibly pass on some ideas for day trips, weekend trips and longer holidays in Switzerland and abroad. (This way my family can’t complain about not knowing the goings-on in my life…)

It is easy to make cultural mistakes when living abroad and god knows I had made some! I hope this blog will help other expats in Switzerland understand this enigmatic country a bit better and enjoy some of its finer aspects.

And finally… if this blog becomes a place for people with an interest in finding out of the ordinary things to do while travelling, then my work here is done!
